1. Safe Usage Instructions

To enjoy the unique atmosphere of Ballonat Sand Wax safely, please follow these guidelines:

  • Container Selection: Only use non-combustible containers such as glass, ceramic, or metal. Ensure the container is sturdy and placed on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Wick Placement: Ensure the wick is centered and has at least 5cm of sand wax surrounding it on all sides and at the bottom to prevent the container from overheating.
  • Burn Time: Burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame, allow the wax to cool, and trim the used wick before relighting for a fresh look.

2. Fire Safety Warnings

  • Never Leave Unattended: Always keep a burning candle within sight. Extinguish all pearls before leaving a room or going to sleep.
  • Keep Away from Flammables: Place your sand wax arrangement away from curtains, decorations, papers, or any materials that can catch fire.
  • Children & Pets: Keep loose wax pearls and burning wicks out of reach of children and pets. The small pearls can be a choking hazard.

3. Environmental Conditions

  • Draft-Free Zone: Avoid placing sand wax near open windows, fans, or air conditioning vents. Drafts can cause uneven burning or accidental ignition of nearby objects.
  • Outdoor Use: While perfect for "Dunes Parties" and "Safari Events," ensure the wax is protected from strong winds which may scatter the pearls.

4. Limitation of Liability

By purchasing and using Ballonat Sand Wax, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  • Assumption of Risk: The user assumes all responsibility for the safe setup and monitoring of the product.
  • Misuse: Ballonat EC shall not be held liable for any damage to property, personal injury, or fire-related incidents resulting from improper use, negligence, or failure to follow the provided safety instructions.
  • Product Nature: Due to the granulated nature of sand wax, it is the user's responsibility to ensure the wax is contained in a way that prevents spillage near open flames.

Extended Burn Time: 12 Hours & Beyond

Unlike traditional candles that melt into a large pool of hot liquid, sand wax maintains its structure, which is what allows for such extended use safely.

While standard candles are often limited to short bursts, Ballonat Sand Wax is engineered for endurance. If the following setup instructions are followed, the wax can be safely enjoyed for 12+ hours:

  • Deep-Vessel Advantage: To sustain a 12-hour burn, we recommend using a large or tall glass container. Filling the vessel with a generous amount of sand wax (at least 10–15cm deep) ensures there is a massive heat-sink effect, keeping the outer container cool even after half a day of continuous ambiance.
  • High-Capacity Wicks: Our specialized wicks are designed to draw the wax steadily. For long-duration events like weddings or all-day hotel lobby displays, ensure the wick is placed perfectly upright with at least 5cm of clearance from any glass wall to prevent heat stress.
  • Minimal Maintenance: Even after 12 hours, the sand wax remains stable. Because the "melt pool" is contained within a small radius around the wick, the rest of the sand stays cool and dry, preventing the tipping hazards associated with large volumes of liquid wax.

The "Fresh Start" Guarantee: Even after a 12-hour session, the user can simply lift out the small hardened "wax button" around the wick, add a new wick, and the remaining sand wax is instantly brand new again.
